Say "Cheese"
Here is a photo of Sarah over the holidays...what a difference a year makes! Now when we take her picture, Sarah says "CHEEEEZE", and then wants to see the picture on the back of the camera.
At two years old, her world only knows digital cameras, it never occurs to her that a picture would need to be developed...
Happy New Year!

Angels Amongst Us
Hello Diane & Mardie,
It's that special time of year again and wanted to take a minute or two to thank you for making our dreams come true! Another year has flown by and we were just thinking that without all of you at Lifetime we wouldn't be the family we are. It's been a blessed six and a half years. You have blessed us not just not once but twice and feel that you are the living Angels amongst us.
For those waiting, keep praying. Remember it will happen in God's time, and if anyone can help guide you your family, Lifetime will.
May you all enjoy the upcoming holiday season have a blessed new year!
Much love,
Archie, Lori, Jazlyn & Ashlee

Our Christmas Angels
Dear Lifetime Staff and families,
Over the past five years, we have had contact with everyone at Lifetime. Our adoption journeys, with our two Lifetime babies, were as unique as they are and yet, so much the same!
We are so in love with our family! Words will never express the gratitude we have to your staff. Our prayers are with all the birth mothers and families over the holidays. We have been blessed by two Lifetime babies; Liam in 2004 and Kathleen in 2008. God's timing is always perfect!
The Lifetime family will always be connected to ours! All of our prayers for a beautiful Holiday Season!

Season's Greetings
Dear Libby and everyone at Lifetime,
We have had an incredibly busy year! Having finalized Jayden's Lifetime adoption last year, we decided to adopt another child. We prayed for God to bring us a child, whoever needed us the most.
Our prayers were answered when we got the call asking if we could help two children through the fost/adopt system. The blessings Devon and Simone arrived at our door shortly after. Our home is so full of love, life, and lots of noise!
May God bless you all and may you have a wonderful holiday season!
Love,
Jason & Desiree

I'm the Big Sister
Peyton is now the proud big sister of little Noah. He was born a month and a half early but he is perfect in every way and we couldn't be happier and couldn't be more blessed. We would absolutely consider adopting again in the future and we would absolutely contact Lifetime! Hope all is well on your end.

Bundle of Joy!
Hello Veronica,
Just a quick update on our family: everything is fabulous! Isaac is a true joy and we can't imagine how life was without him! He's a smiling, jumping, gurgling bundle of joy! We communicate with other prospective Lifetime families and all I can tell them is it's all worth it in the end. It's stressful, but we've forgotten all of that now, his smile wipes it all away. We feel so much love and joy now that we would like to begin expanding our family so Isaac has siblings.
Thanks again for everything you've done for us,
Lyn and Michael

Life is Good
Hi Libby,
Just wanted to say "hello!" and give you an update. The day we finalized Mr. Jayden's adoption was the best day of our lives! What a joy to be done!
Jayden is so wonderful and every day we thank God for him. He is truly drop-dead gorgeous and he knows it! We were meant to go through this journey and champion our little boy...our blessing. He has just turned 2! He's a "BIG" beautiful boy and a wonderful son. We can't believe where the time has gone.
Jayden now has a younger brother and sister, Devon and Simone. We went through the fost/adopt system. All of our children, all in their own way, needed a champion...so God brought them to us. Devon is only nine days younger than Jayden and Simone is now 10 months old.
Are children are all healthy, happy, and loved...life is so good! Thank you for helping build our family...we couldn't have done it without you!
Love,
Jason and Desiree

Hello Veronica and Libby,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that our adoption was finalized last week, yeah!
It's been a busy three months since we brought Isaac home but we are all having a great time. He's growing like a weed and attends daycare every morning now. He's just starting to smile and is a really easy-going child. Thanks again for all of your help in bringing our family together. We can't imagine life without him!

My Little Blessing
Hello Lifetime,
Last week, Dominic became officially mine! I am so happy; I thought finalization would never happen.
Dominic is talking walking and playing like all boys do. He gets into everything and loves to be chased. I love being his mommy and look forward to all the other years ahead of us. I do plan to adopt again in three years and I look forward to contacting you again for that one also. I have had the best experience and can't thank you enough for my little blessing.
Thanks again,
Carmen and Big Boy Dominic

She is a Joy!
Dear Lifetime,
It’s been four months since we brought our precious little girl, “Makenzie Joy” home. Her middle name “Joy” is indicative of the impact she has on the lives of the people around her. We knew that we wanted to be parents and knew that children are a gift from God, but we had no idea just how much happiness being her parents would bring.
Our adoption journey wasn’t a smooth one, but definitely worth the wait. Thank you for all the support and encouragement you gave us. God has brought us another beautiful daughter.
We are so thankful to God not only for Makenzie, but also for the way our family has been extended by the relationship we have with her birthmother and birth-grandmother. It was such a blessing that we all got to share in the delivery. That time together has allowed us to form a bond that will last a lifetime. We do keep in touch with her birthmother and plan to spend some time with her again in the future.
Finally, we couldn’t end this letter without telling you how wonderful we believe the Lifetime staff was to work with. Your entire staff has truly been a delight. From the very start of the process when we first submitted our application to the end when we took our daughter home, everyone was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and very professional. There aren’t many organizations that we have dealt with in the past that their entire team impressed us the way you did.
We pray many blessings on the entire Lifetime family.
Love,
Timothy & D’Etta

Our Happy Family
We wanted to update you all on how we have been doing. Charles is growing so big and he is becoming so active! He acts as if he wants to crawl, but then he just sort of lays out on his belly, just like I do when watching a football game.
This is our first family photo and we just wanted to share it with all of you!

In His Time

Thank you for all your help,
Joe and Zandra

Words Can't
Explain Our Joy
Thank you Veronica and Libby!
What a weekend! Only four weeks ago you called to tell us our beautiful baby boy was waiting for us. It was an exciting time, rushing to the hospital and getting to meet our birthmother and our new baby boy. We are back home now and Isaac is doing great! After starting a little bit behind as a preemie, he is eating like a champ and growing like a weed. He's over six pounds now! Michael is the proudest papa on the planet and has big plans for Isaac to be a rock star, look out world!
Words can't explain the joy we feel at being blessed with our new son. He's absolutely perfect! We also feel blessed that we had the Lifetime family to support us through our adoption plan. Veronica and Libby were marvelous and their obvious love for uniting families was a huge comfort to us and to our birthmother during the frantic "drop in your lap" weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Many blessings on the entire Lifetime family.
Lyn and Michael

Everyday Life
Greetings Lifetime Family,
Just wanted to share a picture of Angel. She is doing great; learning good things and bad things (daycare). She is a normal 20 month-old spoiled rotten child. She thinks that the world revolves around her. She gets into everything all day long. One thing for sure: she still loves her naps! I speak to Angel's birth grandmother from time to time. They are doing well.
Take care,
-Arthur & Juanita

Growing Like a Weed
Hello Diane,
We pray that God is continuing to bless you and your Lifetime family.
We are wonderful, we thank the Angels above for blessing our lives with Jayani; she is so precious and she is growing like a weed! At two months she is trying to stand and boy can she eat. She has began to sleep through the night which is good, because Jacob and I never thought that we could miss sleep so much! It is a great joy especially when Jayani looks at us with that beautiful smile on her face.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!
God Bless,
Jacob, Susan and Jayani

Hi Veronica and Lifetime,
Talan is already 10 months old. She is a very happy little girl and is always smiling and laughing. She started walking at eight months, and now runs after her brothers...she loves to play with them. She is our little princess in so many ways!
Her birthmother is doing great and our friendship with her keeps growing. She is a very important part of our family too. Thanks for helping make our dreams come true!

The Ties That Bind Our Family Together
Hi Lori and Lifetime staff,
Words really can't express our gratitude to all of you and the happiness we feel everyday since little Riley has come into our lives. We had such a wonderful experience meeting our birth mom and birth grandmother. We were in the delivery room with them until the doctor decided they needed to do a c-section. As soon as he was born they brought him out to us; he was just minutes old. It was an amazing moment! The hospital staff couldn't have been nicer. They allowed us to have a room right next door to our birth mom, and we were able to keep Riley in our room with us. The staff were very accepting and supportive of us as adoptive parents, and most importantly of our birthmom.
Riley is now two months old and growing leaps and bounds. He's smiling and cooing all the time. His big brother is very proud of him, too. We feel very blessed and thank God every day for the wonderful family He has given us and for our birth mom. Her selfless decision to allow us to adopt Riley is so amazing. We know she and her mom truly loved him to make such a sacrifice.
We received your gifts the other day and want to thank you so much. It will be fun to capture his little hands and feet to remember forever!
Again, thank you for everything and for helping so many others like us create their families.
Love,
Jen, Sanford, Brendan and Riley

Forever Grateful
Diane and Mardie,
I am forever grateful for bringing not once but twice a blessing that words cannot express how we feel. We just got back from SeaWorld and it is so hard to believe how time flies. Jazlyn just graduated from kinderdergarden and Ashlee turned three. It's amazing how time is flying and how quick they are growing. Whenever I talk to adoptive parents I always tell them make sure that you don't stop at one. My girls are true sisters and are very, very close. They have a special bond between them that I love to sit back and just watch whether it's playing Barbies, or coloring.
To all potential adoptive families, just believe and have hope as your dreams will be fulfilled. Keep an open heart and mind and you will be rewarded. I know as we we have been.
Much love,
Archie, Lori, Jazlyn and Ashlee

Like Father, Like Son
Charles and John just celebrated their first Father's Day, and it was truly a blessing. DeNise took us to breakfast before church service and than we we arrived at church, the entire congregation began to celebrate us. It's nice when people who love you, and know your struggles, can celebrate with you when GOD answers your prayers. As you all will see in the photo, Charles and John dressed alike for the occassion, down to the plaid shoes! The day ended with a cookout at my sister's house, where her father-in-law, her husband, and I were the guests of honor (this means we ate jumbo shrimp!!!)
We will be traveling to Phoenix for Charles Stemplar's first fourth of July, where he will be the co-Guest of Honor, along with his cousin Logan, born on February 9 in Denver. Trust me, Charles and Logan both have plenty of red, white and blue outfits to celebrate their first fourth! We hope you all have a safe holiday weekend with your families.

A Lifetime of Love
Dear Diane, Libby, Heidi, Dee, & our Lifetime Family,
THANK YOU for the wonderful adventure with our adoption. When we found you all two years ago, we had no idea our lives would be impacted like this. Starting off with a closed adoption in mind, your guidance and education on the benefits in even a semi-open adoption proved to be beneficial for us as well as our birth mother. Through this process, our opinion was changed for the better and we have truly expanded our family by two through our adoption. Though our birth mother also only wanted minimal contact, we have made a relationship that will last a lifetime.
When we got the call from Diane that a birth mother was interested in us and then that we were matched, a flood of emotions occurred - from elated that this process is actually happening to panic that I'm about to be a mother again. I made many calls to Diane at Lifetime about these feelings (and doubts) and she reassured me at every turn about the decision and commitment we were making, as well as keeping the faith in God and constantly praying.
We look at our daughter in amazement that she is actually here, in our arms, in our home. We are blessed! Vincent is the best big brother ever. He is very attentive and loving to Izabel. Even our dog is protective and loving to her.
Lifetime has been there for us without fail and that has been peace of mind beyond imagine.
Again, thank you Lifetime,
Sean, LaLeche, Vincent, and Izabel

Family Matters
We could not be happier with the way our family has grown and look forward to adding number three in a couple of years! I spoke with someone my infertility doctor had call me. They are also a bi-racial couple and I suggested the website to check out.
Thanks for everything. We have such a great kid and a strong relationship with Charles' birthfamily.
